The Beginning of The Bald Heads
I’m really happy you’re here, taking a moment from your busy life to read about yourself. Because I believe every Bald heads has the same story, same pain, same struggle, shares the same sorrow, like how our hair leaves us like an ex, how we struggle to hold on & not let go, how we used to crack jokes & laugh in our close group.
When Brotherhood Turned to Bullying
I suddenly became the topic of those jokes in that same group, like they started calling you chacha ( Paternal Uncle ), abe tu uncle bante ja raha ( you becoming an uncle ), lagta nahi tujhe larki milegi tu aise hi reh jayega (don’t think you will get a girl, you will remain unmarried) & many more, which I can’t write here due to policy violations of many posting platforms, but I am sure all the bold heads know what I am trying to say.
When Society Becomes the Real Opponent
But the story doesn’t end here. Society’s reactions & their “diagnoses” & “Judgement “ are always part of it, making the journey even harder. Trust me in India, society & there judgement are the roots cause of many serious issues like increase in divorce rate, increase in suicide rate, increasing pressure in students life & making life of bald people like a hell because they are not ready accept change or adapting with time which make the life of many people worse.
The Hair Transplant Trap: Broken Promises and Permanent Scars
At one point, I thought a hair transplant would be my fresh start, as every bald man thinks. I was excited, full of hopes & consulted 1 of the top hair transplant clinics in Delhi by dreaming of styling my hair like Shah Rukh Khan’s undercut or sleek back, or even a ponytail like John Abraham. But soon I realized it was a beautiful scam.
The transplanted roots only grew at the front, while the top middle of my head still looked like a moon. When I asked the doctor WHY?, she said, “You’re too tall, so blood flow is low on the top middle of your head.” I’m 6 feet tall, shouldn’t she have seen me when I visited her for 1st time? Why does she waste my money, energy, time & most importantly, WHY DOES SHE GIVE ME FAKE HOPE, the worst part still yet to come, (you can see the result of hair transplant in the top banner).
The worst part? My plan had backfired, & for the first time, I felt truly lost. I have also lost the chance of going for a shaved head look because of the white scars on the back of my head where the roots were extracted. It took months for those scars to fade. But everything comes to an end, & so did my hope for that celebrity like hair style or even for non patchy baldness.
Owning The Shaved Head Look
I’m a big fan of Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Steve Austin, men who own their baldness with boldness. That’s when it hit me: if these legends don’t care about their hair, why should I? And I take the inspiration from them. So, I shaved my head. At first, the reactions were mixed. Some called me an egg, others said it was better than trying to cover bald patches.
The Mindset That Changed Everything
But I stopped caring about what others thought. I focused on my physique, my personality, and my confidence because 1 thing is very clear in my mind that my personality or my identity is not based on my hair, i just need to bounce back with my bolder version, which justified shaved head look because its not just a style it has very deep meaning of fearless, bold, strength, confidence & masculinity.
The Spark That Created Bald Is Bold
And then, magic happened. People noticed me not just my look but my presence, & After that, I even found my life partner. But one struggle remained: finding good products to maintain my pride, my crown, my shaved head. I tried many international brands, but nothing felt right. Some are too harsh, or some are so natural that they can’t work on a shaved head. Then my partner said, “You’ve been in the skincare segment for over eight years. Why don’t you create something 100% dedicated to Bold Heads like you?” & it sparked me, but I was scared as bald head or shaved head style is still taboo in India.
But then I think & realized many others like me face the same struggles every day & any bold head need to take the 1st step to end this taboo, then why not me, So I took the first step and started Bald is Bold not only for great product for shaved head and bald head but to end this taboo & make it a trend like any other style. Because I believe from my heart shaved head is not just a style, but it’s a lifestyle.
